With the note of the divide between browser-based and desktop applications is quickly disappearing, Adobe has released its new Adobe Integrated Runtime ( Previously known as Apollo).
Adobe AIR is a cross-operating system runtime that allows developer's existing web development skills (Flash, Flex, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax) to build and deploy rich Internet applications (RIAs) to the desktop.
While Expertise and geeks experimenting on AIR, Adobe has given an article on "Must see Air Sample". Comparing the three applications that support open-source scripting languages, (Silverlight, JavaFX and AIR) developers now have more options left for thier choice. The best of the lot will be know soon.
